We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2025 Leeds Chargers hockey season opens Friday, June 6. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’ve reduced our fees this season and are offering great bonuses for all players. Details below.

U7 third-year players will receive 3 additional ice sessions at no extra cost. Details to follow.

Important Notes

Families registering 3 or more players above U7 are eligible for a $100 discount. Please contact both the Registrar and Treasurer to confirm.

Some age divisions may have registration caps due to high demand. A waitlist will be available. You will be contacted if a spot becomes available.

Additional fees may apply at the Rep B level to support the HEO Player Pathways Program. Fees will be similar to last year and finalized before tryouts.

Ensure your contact information in HCR is accurate, as this will be used to communicate with families.

Payment Options

Credit card payments are accepted by default through the HCR registration system. If you prefer to pay by e-transfer, full payment must be received by September 1 for registration to be complete.

To pay by e-transfer, send payment to the Treasurer (treasurer@leedschargers.com). In the message field of the e-transfer, please include:

  • Player’s first and last name

  • Age group (e.g. U11)

If you have concerns about payment options or require an alternative arrangement, contact the Treasurer directly at treasurer@leedschargers.com.

HCR Account and Document Requirements

Register or log in at: https://myaccount.spordle.com/login?c=hockey-canada

New players must upload proof of age (birth certificate) and two pieces of proof of residency (driver’s license, car insurance, or utility bill)

To upload documents:

  1. Log into your HCR/Spordle account

  2. Go to “Members” and select your player

  3. Click on Leeds Chargers MHA

  4. Choose “Documents” and click the + to upload (legible phone photos are acceptable)

Additional HCR Support

To change your address, upload two new supporting documents into HCR. The registrar will be notified to confirm.

To sign waivers: log in, go to Members > Leeds Chargers MHA > Waiver section, review and accept each one.

To link players to your account (for the Respect in Sport Parent course): go to Members > click + > search by player’s name and DOB

To request a transfer, contact the incoming association’s registrar and use this form:

Important Notice from HEO

All parents/guardians must register their player with their home association as defined by HEO boundaries.

New registrants must provide proof of residency, and existing players may be asked to do the same.

Falsifying registration records can lead to a suspension of up to 3 years under Hockey Canada By-laws.

U7 Registration Process for New Players

If you do not have an HCR account, email Kate at registrar@leedschargers.com with:

  • Hockey Canada ID

  • Child’s full name, date of birth, address, email, and phone number

  • New families must complete the Respect in Sport–Parent course
