LMHA 2021 Annual General Meeting
Dear Members of the Leeds Minor Hockey Association,
The Leeds Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday, April 19th at 7:00 pm. Due to COVID, the AGM will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams. If you would like to attend the meeting virtually, please RSVP to Cindy Palmer at email@example.com no later than Monday, April 19th at 7:00 am. You will then be provided with the link to attend the meeting on Monday.
The AGM is where the election of the upcoming (or in this case current) season’s Executive members takes place. We’ve heard from some of you expressing your concerns and comments regarding the process for which the current Executive has provided a season for your child to play in, and we encourage you to take this opportunity to step up and volunteer your time going forward to be able to address some of the concerns you have brought forward to us and bring your ideas to the table.
All candidates for election to the Executive office must be nominated (using the attached nomination form) and submitted to the LMHA Secretary, Cindy Palmer via email no later than Monday, April 19th at 0900hrs. (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please know that all positions are up for renewal, the only caveat is that the current President must have served on the Executive for the previous year term and the Past President position which is a non-voting position, is for obvious reasoning the previous President. For transparency, this is for continuity purposes for the better of the association and the children not due to anything else.

- Coach Mentor / Player Development
- IP Convener

- Bantam & Midget Convener
If you are interested in one of these positions and would like to see a job description of sorts, please reach out to Cindy Palmer @ email@example.com prior to Monday, April 19th as you are required to be nominated prior to the meeting. Any person being nominated at the meeting (not on the form provided in advance) must also be present online in order to validate the nomination and accept the position. All members being nominated must be in good standing in order to be able to be elected to the table. Once elected to a position that you have accepted, you will not be eligible to be elected for any other positions.
